| with a lightweight powered trike, downwind of the Etna volcano over the sea in tumbling the mainspar gave way and the wing separated from the trike leaving it and the pilot in freefall, Angelo handlaunched the ex Sibron 45 emergency parachute which opened to slow the descent. On impact with the water the trike went down but the pilot's body reduced the inertia and Angelo broke his ribs.
